z/VM Change logs
z/VM 7.4 introduced linear service to the product. Service fix packs and feature packs are now released on a regular cadence and the latest pack contains all service, fixes, and features up to that point. Refer to the component change log table below for a comprehensive list of changes to the component since the z/VM 7.4 General Availability date. The z/VM ICKDSF and LE components do not follow the Linear Service model. Any service to these components will require assessing the available APARs and deciding which (or all) you would like to install against the component.
Note: A VMSES fix pack was released on October 10, 2024 that provides an important service update to accommodate reporting of service level indentifiers. It is strongly advised to install this fix pack before other component updates so their corresponding levels are correctly reported by VMSES.
