z/VM Virtual Networking Link Aggregation - Unsupported OSA-Express features

There are several requirements for the OSA-Express hardware when using the devices for Link Aggregation. If your target device does not meet the requirements, you will receive this message:

• HCPSWU2832E The port does not have the required attributes.

Examples of the controller messages that could accompany the VSWITCH message are:

• DTCOSD403E Device 00009D00 is not full duplex. Full duplex is required Link Aggregation.
  
• DTCOSD404E Device ETH11E03DEV link speed 100000000 does not match required link speed 1000000000.

• DTCOSD411E Device 00009C000 does not support LACP Inactive configurations.
