As long as they are the same type and speed, it is possible for a port group to be formed using a combination of OSA-Express ports.

However, the ports must also be configured the same on the switch.

• flow control setting

  It has been observed that for a Cisco 6509 switch, "send flow control" defaults to OFF for OSA-Express2 ports and defaults to ON for OSA-Express3 ports. All aggregated ports must be configured to have the same flow control settings.
