List Server Discussion Groups

List servers, commonly referred to as "listservs", are a form of communication via discussion forums hosted by education institutions and customer sites. Participants are IBM customers, ISVs, those interested in the subject discussion, and IBMers.

How does it work?
When you subscribe to a listserv, you receive instructions for receiving mail from the list server, and for sending information to that list server.

Why use the discussion list servers?
For the virtually instantaneous response to your questions from members of the community. And, also for you to respond and share your experience and help others. Most list servers publish their archives of past and ongoing discussions, so take a look at their archive link to see what's being talked about.
