Attention:  VM/ESA customers installing RSUs and VM Program Products in VM SES/E format

All VM/ESA customers that install RSUs or VM Program Products must make sure that VMSES/E APAR VM62316  is applied. Without this APAR applied, RSUs and VM Program Products, that have an INS file where the filetype of the file starts with a zero (0), will not install.

The PTFs for the APAR are:

• UM29440 for VMSES/E 2.2.0
• UM29441 for VMSES/E 2.3.0
• UM29442 for VMSES/E 2.4.0

These PTFs can also be found on the following currently available VM/ESA RSUs:

• VM/ESA 2.3.0 RSU PTF UM99230
• VM/ESA 2.4.0 RSU PTF UM99240
