OSA/SF COR Apply
General Thoughts:
OSA/SF COR apply is done from the
OSA/SF userid 2VMVMV20. This ID has R/W capability to all
the needed OSA/SF userid minidisks, so any changes will need
to be VMFCOPY'd onto the perspective
OSA/SF userid minidisk. This is covered in the Program Directory
but I just wanted to reiterate here!
Applying OSA/SF COR:
- It is recommended the
LATEST copy of the OSA/SF Program Directory be used when
applying OSA/SF COR.
- It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that the LATEST OSA/SF COR be applied
when installing OSA/SF. This helps to ensure the driver levels
of the EXEC's, GUI, OSA/SF code, and any IMAGES are available.
- It is also HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that the product using the OSA2
for connectivity (i.e: TCP/IP, VTAM) be current in corrective service
as well.
