0058 88 Character 4 LPARUPID The user partition ID number

indicating that CPU cycles are to be allocated only
up to the specified maximum, or No (1) if capping
                                        is not active.
0060 96 Dbl-Word 8 LPARLGLD Logical processor load as seen
by the guest VM system, based on processor busy
time seen by the guest system and the sum of wait
time and processor busy time perceived by the
guest VM system. This is the logic used for the
the calculation of the 'INDICATE LOAD' output.
Note, however, that the resulting value depends
not only on the actual activity of the guest
system (the processor time used), but also on the
activity of systems in other logical partitions of
the same physical system. The 'suspended' time
(see %Susp value) will increase if there is more
contention for the real processors, thus causing
less voluntary wait time. Less voluntary wait
time in turn will result in a higher 'Logical
processor load' being calculated, even if the
actual CPU time used by the processor is the same.
0068 104 Dbl-Word 8 LPARVMLD Processor load as seen by the

seen by the guest system and elapsed time.

                                        share value for the user.
00F8 248 Signed 4 WKLDSHRM No limit-This is the default
share setting. It allows z/VM to
                                        adjust the users share value
according to system load with no
                                        restrictions. Maximum-This means that
a maximum share value has been set
for the user. The Share value shown
is the actual value, not the maximum.
Limit Hard-This means that the share
value for the user can never exceed
                                        the maximum value. Absolute-This means
that the user will receive a targetted
                                        minimum of the system resources.
                                        Dedicated-This means the user is
running on a dedicated processor, and
the share setting has no meaning.

Switch. A Virtual Switch is given a 16-byte
identification, or LAN ID, when it is
created. The VSWITCH LAN ID consists of two
                                        8-byte character fields: OWNER||NAME. The
OWNER is always SYSTEM. This column is the
NAME component of the LAN ID.
0050 80 Dbl-Word 8 VSWRT Number of write signals
                                        issued per second.
0058 88 Dbl-Word 8 VSRED Number of read signals
                                        issued per second.
0060 96 Dbl-Word 8 VSSYN Number of sync signals
                                        issued per second.
0068 104 Dbl-Word 8 VSPCR Number of interrupts, such
as PCI and AI, received per second.
0070 112 Dbl-Word 8 VSPCI Number of interrupts, such
as PCI and AI, that resulted in
                                        input queue processing per
                                        second.
0078 120 Character 8 VSGVGRP Name of the link aggregation
port group in use for this VSWITCH.
0080 128 Character 17 VSGVMAC The LAN management MAC address.
0091 145 Character 45 VSGVIPA The LAN management IP address.
This address is used by clients
                                        involved in switch management.
                                        For example, a Network Management
                                        System can request Bridge MIB
                                        information from an SNMP agent
using this address. If an SNMP
agent has not been assigned, the
                                        IP address field will contain
                                        blanks.
00BE 190 Character 8 VSGVMGI The LAN management IP userid.
This is the userid of the z/VM
                                        TCP/IP stack that has assigned
an SNMP agent to the virtual
switch in its HOME statement. If
an SNMP agent has not been
                                        assigned, the userid field will
                                        contain blanks.

                                        between themselves and other hosts

destined for another guest port on the
virtual switch. In addition, no direct
                                        LPAR communications sharing the same
OSA port is permitted with the guest
ports of the virtual switch. All
                                        traffic from the virtual switch
                                        destined for any sharing host/LPARs
on the same OSA port will be dropped.
Any traffic destined for the virtual
                                        switch guest ports from hosts/LPARs
sharing the same OSA port will also
be dropped. OFF allows guest ports
to communicate with each other and
with any hosts and/or LPARs that
                                        share the same OSA port.
0158 344 Signed 4 VSGCONF The access type for the
                                        virtual switch. Possible values are:
USER Specifies that the virtual switch
will be on a user ID basis.
                                        Authorization and configuration will be
for the user. Use SET VSWITCH GRANT and
                                        REVOKE commands for authorization.
Port numbers for guests will be assigned
CP. PORT Specifies that the virtual
switch will be port based. All
connections will be on a port basis.
Each port must be configured with the
                                        SET VSWITCH PORTNUMBER command. This
configuration will allow a guest to
                                        have multiple unique access ports
connected to the same VSWITCH instance.

wait time and processor busy time perceived by
the guest VM system. This is the logic used for
the calculation of the 'INDICATE LOAD' output.
Note, however, that the resulting value depends
not only on the actual activity of the guest
system (the processor time used), but also on
the activity of the systems in other logical
partitions of the same physical system: The
'suspended' time (see %Susp value) will
increase if there is more contention for the
real processors, thus causing less voluntary
wait time. Less voluntary wait time in turn
will result in a higher 'Logical processor
load' being calculated, even if the actual CPU
time used by a processor is the same.
0068 104 Dbl-Word 8 LPENVMLD Processor load as senn by the
guest VM system, based on processor busy time
seen by the guest system and elapsed time.
