5D3 Problem Determination under CICS TS for VSE/ESA

Abstract:

This topic is a follow-on to `Dump Analysis under VSE/ESA` session #E85, and extends the techniques to CICS TS for VSE/ESA. Under the covers, CICS TS is vastly different from CICS/VSE, and this necessitates fundamental changes in the way we approach problem isolation, determination and resolution. The presentation consists of a comparison of problem analysis techniques under CICS/VSE and CICS TS, using console commands and dump reading skills to determine the status of your on-line region.
