3D5 VM Java Update

Abstract:

The Java Development Kit 1.1.1 was made available on VM/ESA shortly after the general availability of VM/ESA Version 2 Release 3.

Since then, additional enhancements have been made that expand the scope of Java applications and servers that can be hosted on VM. This session will review what was originally made available for VM/ESA and cover enhancements that have been made since that time. In addition, installation information for both Java and NetREXX on VM/ESA will be discussed.
