5D4 Problem Determination under CICS TS

Abstract:
This topic is a follow-on to the VSE/ESA Problem Solving sessions, and extends the techniques to CICS TS. It has been completely re-written since last year to reflect the new functions and structure in CICS TS. Participants are instructed on how to use console commands and dump reading skills to determine the status of your CICS TS partition. Topics covered include CICS dumps, partition wait states, interaction with VSAM, transaction waits, and main-task loops.
