3B3 Java Applications on VM/ESA

Abstract:

Now that VM/ESA V2 R3 has a Java Development Kit (JDK), it is possible to port a wide range of pure JAVA applications to VM, that were written originally for other platforms. Packages such as the Remote AWT, MQSeries Client for Java and others can now be used on VM. This session will will explore some of these applications covering how to obtain them, to obtain them, how to install them, and how to use them.
