Abstract:

S/390 Service Update Facility (SUF) is an Internet-based S/390 software service tool that makes ordering and receiving OS/390, VM, and VSE software service quick and easy. SUF allows systems programmers to order both corrective and preventive service via the Internet. OS/390 and VM service, both corrective and and preventive, can be delivered via the Internet or via standard physical media delivery. Currently, VSE corrective service may also be delivered vi the Internet or physical delivery. However, VSE preventive service (i.e. system refresh) can only be delivered via physical delivery. Year 2000 Service delivery enhancements available with the latest SUF service upgrade.
