1A1 P/390 and Intergrated Server Update

Abstract:

The S/390 Integrated Server is a full member of the S/390 Server Family. It is capable of running all S/390 Operating System and is especially well-suited for the VM and VSE environments. S/390 functionality and capabilities have been engineered into the S/390 Integrated Server making it a flexible, reliable and highly available yet low cost S/390 Server. These functions and capabilities (e.g DASD, Processor, Tape, Print, Communications) of the S/390 Integrated Server will be discussed, as well as, the Reliability and Serviceability of this S/390 Server. Lastly, some real life examples of VM and VSE customers using the S/390 Integrated Server to meet their Information Technology needs will be shown.
