The table below provides you with a list of service required in order for z/VM V6.1, V5.4, or z/VM V5.3 to support Crypto Express3 and for Ficon Express8 when using 3590 and 3592 tapes with z/VM.

Prior to using 3590 and 3592 tapes with z/VM, including installing z/VM from tape:
