Performance Analysis Facility/VM helps in analyzing system performance.
It provides statistical information and interactive graphics to help
identify patterns in system performance for VM/ESA systems. VMPAF also
allows you to view data from multiple systems. This can be used to
compare data from the same system before and after changes have been
made.
The interactive graphics environment shows how performance variables
behave over time. It also provides statistical information about these
variables, including minimum, maximum, and average values for the time
period. The program calculates the coefficient of correlation between
each of these variables and a variable representingthe quality of
performance that users are experiencing.
