Information about other IBM z/VM Performance Products

The Latest service available for VMPRF 4.1.0 is PTF UM30753 (06/10/2003) for APAR VM63281. NOTE: This supercedes APAR VM63291 (PTF UM30767)

PTF UM30750 has an incorrect VMPRF REPORTS file. This will be corrected with APAR VM63291. Meanwhile, if you use the default REPORTS file, you should copy the one from UM30693 to the 1CC disk. If you have previously modified the REPORTS file and placed it on the CCC disk, you should be OK.

If you haven't installed UM30693, you will need to copy the PRFVM CTL30332 file to the A-disk as PRFVM CNTRL. Once you have installed UM30693 this file should be erased.

PTF UM30332 includes support for z/VM 4.3.0. These new reports are available: SYSTEM_CONFIGURATION_BY_TIME, LPAR_CONFIGURATION_BY_TIME, IOPROCESSORS_BY_TIME, SUMMARY_IOPROCESSORS, TREND_IOPROCESSORS.

The APAR number can be found in the VMPRF RUNFILE for each run.

The latest RSU is 0301.

Customers with IBM HONE/RETAIN access should review APAR II12724 for the latest COR information.

Customers without IBM HONE/RETAIN access should contact the support center to review II12724.
