Common Problems
Most of the time a message will appear in the RUNFILE when a problem occurs in VMPRF.- FPRPGM033W UKNOWN DOMAIN/RECORD ID filling the RUNFILE on the A Disk
- Domain 0 Record 20 was added with VM/ESA 2.4.0. These records
are introduced with D/T9672 Driver Level 14.
PTF UM29485
is needed.
- FPRPGM055E ***transmit error***
- Frequently this is an output minidisk full. VMPRF writes temporary files to the "A" disk before combining them onto the disk(s) specified in the "master" file. If any of these disks run out of space this condition can be raised. Increasing the size of these minidisks may resolve the problem.
- FPRPGM045S ***Error Condition*** ONCODE=3920
- Out of storage, increase the size of your virtual machine. 64M is recommended but this could increase to as much as 512M depending on the monitor data, settings and reports requested.
- FPRPGM071S ***Error Condition*** ONCODE=3920
- Out of storage, increase the size of your virtual machine. 64M is recommended but this could increase to as much as 512M depending on the monitor data, settings and reports requested.
- FPREXC013E Error 28 finding required TXTLIBS: VMPRF PLILIB IBMLIB CMSLIB
- Usually this occurs for VM/ESA releases prior to VM/ESA 2.3.0. Before VM/ESA 2.3.0 only a subset of the LE libraries were shipped with VM. VMPRF could did not find the entire LE library and defaulted to set up for the PL/I environment. If the PL/I disks were not accessed or PL/I was not installed this is the result. You need either the LE libraries or the PL/I libraries for VMPRF to run. This is frequently accompanied with message DMSOPN002E File PLILIB TXTLIB * not found
- FPRPGM023E error parsing parameters
- This can be caused by a mismatch of the level of the LE/370 segment and the LE/370 libraries. To verify the LE/370 installation you can run the LE verification exec V5688198 usually found on the 19E (Y) disk.
