NFS Client Changes

  • The localport option was added to the OPENVM MOUNT command and programming interface. This allows you to specify the local reserved (well-known) port number CMS should use if reserved ports are required by the remote NFS server. By default, some NFS server implementations on LINUX require that the client use reserved ports.

How do you tell which release level is running on the server?
