RSCS 3.2.0 LPR vs TCP/IP for VM LPR
The table below details a comparison of the following LPR support:
- PPS EXEC provided with RSCS 3.2.0,
- Available RSCS 3.2.0 LPR-type link options
- Asynchronous option of the LPR EXEC provided with the TCP/IP feature (Function Level 310 or higher) for VM/ESA, and
- Synchronous option of the LPR EXEC provided with the TCP/IP feature (Function Level 310 or higher) for VM/ESA.
- The asynchronous option of the LPR command provided with the TCP/IP feature for VM/ESA 2.3.0 or higher utilizes RSCS LPR-type link support.
- N/A under the PPS EXEC and LPR asynchronous indicates the option has no meaning for the command, instead is handled by the RSCS LPR-type link.
- The RSCS LPR link specific column indicates options that can be configured and handled automatically by the link, separate from options available with the PPS and LPR commands.
