z/VM CMS Utilities
CMS Utilities was integrated into z/VM V5 and is available at no charge with z/VM V5.4 and all future releases of z/VM.
The Utilities are documented in Chapter 3 of z/VM: CMS Commands and Utilities Reference.
CUF contains utility programs that were formerly provided by the Interactive Productivity Facility/Extended Architecture Utilities (IPF/XA) and VM/Interactive Productivity Facility(VM/IPF). The following programs are part of the CMS Utilities Feature:

- Process z/VM accounting records

- Monitors service virtual machines

- Lets you view a file or library member
- CLRSCRN
- Clears the terminal screen
- DCSSBKUP
- Saves CMS saved segments

- Writes printer files to disk

- Displays device characteristics
- DIRMAP
- Maps minidisk space in the CP directory
- FILESTCK
- Transfers data from the program stack to a file

- Transfers data from a file to the program stack
- FLIST
- Displays a full-screen list of files
- GETFMADR
- Finds a free file mode and address
- OPTIMISE
- Optimizes the performance of EXEC2 EXECS
- QSYSOWN
- Queries system disk space
- REPRINT
- Transfers files from a virtual reader to a printer
- SADT
- Stacks minidisk and file directory information
- SETKEYX
- Sets storage keys for saved segments
- SFPURGER
- Performs spool file maintenance

- Loads saved segments

- Stacks reader tag information

- Monitors system data on mutliple systems

- Stacks user ID information
