Description of the Mail Gateway Package

The code supplied in this package is intended to be used in configuring a TCP/IP-to-RSCS mail gateway where some of the VM systems behind the TCP/IP mail gateway are not yet at the VM/ESA 2.3.0 level and have never been configured to communicate with a TCP/IP mail gateway.

NOTE: If you have previously installed TCP/IP gateway code on your VM/ESA systems then this package is not required. Do not install this package on any VM/ESA 2.3.0 systems; it is not required for this level of VM/ESA and will regress the mail functions on that system if installed.
