Programming Interface Information:
The Monitor Records are intended Programming Interfaces that allow the customer to write programs to obtain services of z/VM. |

DSECT NAME - MTRSTP
FUNCTION - Map a Monitor record.
LOCATED By -
Through the Monitor Control Area
REFERENCED CONTROL BLOCKS -
MRRECHDR Monitor Record Header
NAME - MRMTRSTP
DESCRIPTIVE NAME - Monitor Event Record
Domain 1 - Monitor Domain
Record 22 - Server Time Protocol Event Record
DESCRIPTION - Record of an STP state change event
NOTES:
The value of MTRSTP_STIEVENT specificies what STP event is taking
place. These values are defined as follows:
x'01' - An STP Synch Check occurred. As a result, STP is now
in suspended mode, and I/O requiring a timestamp will
be delayed until re-sync (unless XRC_OPTIONAL was
specified in the configuration file).
MTRSTP_STITODOF represents the old TOD offset that
must be replaced by a re-sync.
x'02' - An STP Clock Source error occurred. As a result, STP
is now in suspended mode, and I/O requiring a timestamp
will be delayed until re-sync (unless XRC_OPTIONAL was
specified in the configuration file).
MTRSTP_STITODOF represents the old TOD offset that
must be replaced by a re-sync.
x'03' - A Timing Status change event occurred. STP will remain
active when this event occurs.
MTRSTP_STITODOF represents the TOD offset that will
continue to be used for timestamping.
x'04' - A Link Availability Change has been detected. STP will
remain active when this event occurs. If the last link
goes away, a machine check will follow.
MTRSTP_STITODOF represents the TOD offset that will
continue to be used for timestamping.
x'05' - Time Control Parameter Change event occurred. STP will
remain active when this event occurs, but this will
cause a timezone change event (x'07') in the very
near future.
MTRSTP_STITODOF represents the TOD offset that will
continue to be used for timestamping.
x'06' - STP synchronization has completed. If any I/O has been
delayed due to the suspended STP state, it will now be
dequeued.
MTRSTP_STITODOF represents the new TOD offset to
be used for timestamping.
x'07' - STP time zone change occurred.
MTRSTP_STIOLDTZ and MTRSTP_STIOLDOF represent the old
timezone that has been replaced.
MTRSTP_NEWTZNID and MTRSTP_NEWOFFST represent the new
timezone that is now effect for the system.
