CMS supports network level queues using APPC/VM as the carrier. It also provides interfaces to allow anyone to write a line driver that uses another carrier. This program is a line driver that uses a DCSS as the carrier. It provides all the queue operations provided by the basic CMS IPC support. Additionally, it provides the capability to receive from remote queues, allowing CMS queues to be shared by multiple virtual machines. The package includes SHAREDQS README which contains all the information you need to know to use this support.
