This package can extract a time-range of data from a MONWRITE file. This can be useful if you are interested in only a small time-range of data that happens to lie in the middle of a much larger file.

An example motivates. Suppose you ran MONWRITE for twelve hours continuously. You ended up with a very large MONDATA file. Suppose later you found you were interested in only hour 5 of that data. You could run MONRIP and extract just that one hour.
