The CUA 2001 package is a group of routines that provide CUA applications support for VM applications written in REXX. The main support provided is in the area of developing Common User Access (CUA) compliant application panels for 3270 users. In addition, the functions provide for the creation of NPT CUA approved model panel elements such as single selection fields, pull-downs, and action lists.

It is ideal for quick prototyping of CUA applications which may later be developed for non-VM environments. It is also suitable for developing VM production applications that require strict CUA compliance. It was built using the rules for design as listed in the SAA manual Common User Access Basic Interface Design Guide (SC26-4583), hereafter referred to as the BIDG manual, and has been reviewed by the CUA Consulting and Compliance group.
