CP4ZVM72 is a tool to check for CP service that is on the given z/VM 7.1 system and not in the base of z/VM 7.2. While most CP APARs that have a PTF closed prior to the GA of z/VM 7.2 are in the base, not all made it prior to code freeze.

This tool requires a z/VM 7.1 system and either Class C or E privileges. It generates a Report on the A-disk that includes three sections:

APARs on your 7.1 system that are already in base of 7.2

APARs on your 7.1 system that are NOT in base of 7.2.

APARs in the base of 7.2 that you do not have on 7.1
