   Determining Your TCP/IP RSU Level

To determine the RSU Level for TCP/IP V2R4, use these steps:

Logon to the TCP/IP for VM Installation user ID (5735FALK for TCP/IP V2R4), and issue an appropriate VMFSETUP command:

vmfsetup ppfname compname

(where ppfname and compname are the name of the PPF file and the component you used to install TCP/IP on your system)

For example, vmfsetup 5735falk tcpip

Then, issue the following VMFSIM command:

vmfsim query vm sysrecs tdata :ppf ppfname :stat

The results of the VMFSIM command will be similar to the following:

VMFSIP2408I RESULTS FOR
            TDATA :PPF ppfname :STAT
:PPF ppfname compname
  :STAT RECEIVED.12/31/00.12:34:56.P735FALK..RSU-0001

The last part of the status line indicates the RSU service level; for this example, this is 0001.
