This APAR provides a performance enhancement made to z/VM 4.4.0
 TCPIP Stack's OSD device driver.

 PROBLEM CONCLUSION:

 TEMPORARY FIX:

 COMMENTS:
This APAR provides a performance enhancement made to z/VM's
TCP/IP Stack device support for OSA Express.

When running on a z990 machine it is also advisable to install
the CP enhancements provided by VM63385 to realize a further
benefit. However, VM63385 is not required to apply this APAR.

This APAR optimizes the way z/VM TCPIP's Stack transfers
datagrams via a QDIO output queue. With this function
applied, the stack will reduce the number of times it
needs to signal the QDIO adapter when sending outbound
 datagrams.
