 * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: MPRoute gets error "DTCMPR7828I *
 *                      Error adding/deleting/changing stack    *
 * rte" when trying to delete TCP/IP *
 *                      stack routes.                           *

 * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY PTF                                    *

 MPRoute and the stack both support up to 4 equal cost paths to a
 single destination. MPRoute, however, maintains 2 lists - a new
 list (of up to 4 equal cost paths) and the previous list (of up
 to 4 equal cost paths). MPRoute first adds the new routes, and
 then deletes the old routes. In the worst cast scenario, the
 stack has 4 equal cost paths, and they all go down. MPRoute
 could add 4 new ones, and then delete the 4 bad ones. So the
 stack needs to accommodate 8 equal cost paths for MPRoute.

 PROBLEM CONCLUSION:
 The TCP/IP stack was changed to allow MPRoute to use up to
 8 equal cost paths. These additional 4 paths will only be
 used when routes are being added and deleted by MPRoute.
 MPRoute still supports 4 equal cost paths, and static routes
 added via the GATEWAY are still restricted to 4 equal cost
 paths.
