LOCAL FIX: PROBLEM SUMMARY: **************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of the crypto_aes_assist function. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: APPLY PTF * **************************************************************** An operation exception will occur if the crypto_aes_assist function is called. This could occur if either the SSL or LDAP Server is handling a secure socket and AES encryption or decryption is required. PROBLEM CONCLUSION: The crypto_aes_assist function contained a z/Architecture assembler instruction which is not supported in CMS. This instruction was replaced with some non-z/Architecture instructions which perform the same function.
