Message DVHBIN6325E from DirMaint Release 5 when running in one of
these environments:
VM/ESA CMS level 12 (VM/ESA 2.1.0) with APAR VM59897 (PTF UM27508)
VM/ESA CMS level 13 (VM/ESA 2.2.0) base
DirMaint uses the CMS PIPELINES CRC stage to calculate a checksum
to assure that the source and object directories are synchronized.
The above mentioned APARs and VM release change the result from the CRC
stage making it appear that they are out of synch.
Correction:
Basically the source directory needs to be initialized using the latest
level of the CRC stage to calculate the "new" CRC value, then the new
object directory can be created and used. This can be done from the
DIRMAINT id by:
IPL "old CMS"
DVHBEGIN
USER BACKUP
SHUTDOWN
IPL "new CMS"
COPYFILE USER BACKUP G USER INPUT E (REP OLDDATE
ERASE USER DIRECT E
DVHBEGIN
