The purpose of VMMENU is to present selection menu panels to the users. It has good performance (uses REXX and XEDIT only) and is easy to tailor. When users select an entry on a menu, either another (subordinate) menu gets displayed, or one or more CP, CMS or REXX commands get executed, as defined in the NAMES file that defines the menu structure.

The user can also execute any CP, CMS or EXEC command from the command line, exactly the same as from CMS Ready; prompt.
