Development of this REPORTER PACKAGE was underway and * complete for one specific type of report layout. The next phase * planned was to 'generalise' the mapping routine to enable any report * layout to be handled. The basic framework of the code for achieving * this generalised mapping and some other ideas were derived from the * BURSTAR PACKAGE which was released on VMTOOLS as the second phase of * REPORTER was being planned. My thanks to William J. Hladik for saving * me a lot of hard work. * This REPORTER package is largely compatible in its mapping parameters * with those of BURSTAR ( no guarantee is given that this will remain the * case ). A report 'mapped' by one system could be very easily * transferred to the other. * It provides many more features than BURSTAR and a much greater level of * flexibility. The one feature it does lack is the VM service machine * concept implemented by BURSTAR, but that could be easily implemented by * the user ( the author has no plan to do that ). * * New releases...... * * Release 3.14 * 25/Jul/95 Added the SAVEALL/NOSAVEALL option commands.
