Mod CP so TCPIP connected users have their foreign host address associated with their logical device at LDEV creation time. Surprisingly no mods to TCPIP are required. Throughout CP if the IP address is available, we make use of it on messages to the OPERATOR for LOGON, RECONNECT and DIAL events. We also make it available to an ESM for LOGON and RECONNECT, thus allowing it to show up in the ESM's audit log.

With this mod applied to CP the messages written to the OPERATOR's console look like this:

These updates fit (and have been tested on) both CP V2.1.0 and CP V2.2.0, but they are benign enough that they probably will fit without change and function properly on older CPs too.

This level includes an update to CP V2.3.0 to assist in transitioning between TCP/IP V2.x and TCP/IP FL310. Once CP V2.3.0 and TCP/IP FL310 are in production together this update is obsolete, since similar functionality is now built into base CP.
