In our installation, we have many servers using the RxServer kernel and this spread over 18 VM systems. It becomes a bit hard to know which server is at wich level.

Therefore a CMS/GUI application has been created to give an overview, run GENIEXEC, run GENSERV or even SENDFILE new code to selected servers.

The code uses SERVER NAMES to know which servers do exist.  Entries are added to this file by the GENSERV EXEC (part of RXSERVER).
It also uses DISTRIB NAMES to know which VM systems you've got.

The CHKSERV code is of no use if you don't use RXSERVER.  It is of limited use of you only have one or two RXSERVER based servers.
