Steve Wilkins VM Developer Page
A bit about Steve: Since 1988, I have worked in various
areas of VM, beginning in VM/SP development, and later working in
VM/XA CP Development focusing on disk and tape support. When I'm not
working on z/VM, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending
concerts and hockey games, playing electric guitar, and riding a
Harley on the occasional sunny days in upstate New York.
VM-related items: I am the VM strategist for I/O device
support. I've attended many conferences, customer sites, and
briefings over the last several years. It has been a pleasure to talk
with customers, especially those who attend the IBM System z Technical
Conferences (US and EMEA) and the user groups SHARE, WAVV, BayBunch,
and CAVMEN.
VM has completed direct attach support for XIV disk subsystems. If
interested in this support, please visit
VM Support for XIV
for a support overview.
Here are some presentations I have written and/or presented at
conferences and user group meetings. Please see the developer
page for
Eric Farman
for additional VM I/O content.
